Law firm wins £1m contract from housing association

A housing association in the East of England has handed law firm Birketts a £1m contract to provide legal advice over the next three to five years.
The contract to advise Broadland Housing Group is for: “The provision of general legal services, development legal services, and all aspects of housing management legal services serving the Norfolk and Suffolk region.
"A comprehensive range of services is included in the coverage of this contract involving property and litigation, construction and contract, commercial and public sector housing management legal services.”
The agreement is for an initial three years, after which it could be extended for a further two years.
The total final value of the contract is said to be £1.05m excluding VAT.
Broadland provides more than 4,500 homes across Norfolk and Suffolk.
