Seren housing group appoints six firms to legal panel

The Seren group has selected six law firms for its legal panel.
The firms will advise the housing and support provider on property acquisition and development, housing management, employment, treasury and finance, and governance and other corporate services.
Seren – which is based in Newport, Wales – estimated that the contract is worth £720,000 over three years. There is an option to renew for a further two years.
The housing group received 14 offers for the contract, and the successful firms were:
- Devonshires (property and governance)
- Geldards (employment and governance)
- Hugh James (housing and property)
- Maclay Murray & Spens (employment)
- Morgan Denton Jones (employment)
- Morgan LaRoche (treasury)
