Judicial review specialist joins 39 Essex Chambers

Emily Wilsdon, a specialist in judicial review, civil claims with a public law element, inquests, and national security, has joined 39 Essex Chambers.
Wilsdon, who joins from Temple Garden Chambers, also accepts instructions in commercial and construction.
She is a member of the Attorney General’s Civil Panel of Counsel, B Panel (London) and also a member of the Equality and Human Rights Commission’s panel of counsel: England and Wales, B list.
Wilsdon currently represents the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (formerly MHCLG) in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and the Home Office in the Brook House Inquiry.
