Housing consortium names 11 law firms to £50m legal services framework

The South East Consortium, an efficiency savings organisation whose members collectively manage more than 250,000 properties, has appointed 11 law firms to a £50m legal services framework.
The consortium, which includes councils, divided the framework into the following lots
- High value non-contentious work
- High value contentious work
- Housing and asset management
- Property
- Development
- Property sales
- Corporate governance and finance
- Employment advice
The successful firms were:

- Batchelors (lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 8)
- Capsticks (lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
- Clarke Willmott (lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 7)
- Devonshires (lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
- Freeths (lots 5, 6)
- Housing Law Services (lot 3)
- Penningtons Manches (lots 1, 4, 5, 6, 7)
- Sharpe Pritchard (lots 2, 4, 7, 8)
- Sharratts London (lot 4)
- Trowers and Hamlins (lots 1, 2, 6, 7, 8)
