Not-for-profit housing developer for over 55s to set up £1.8m panel of legal services providers

Since 1988, ExtraCare has operated retirement villages and smaller housing developments around its Midlands base and further south. It supports older people in 14 retirement villages and 5 housing schemes.

The contract has been divided into the following lots:

1. Construction;
2. Commercial Property;
3. Housing;
4. Planning and Environment;
5. Intellectual Property;
6. Banking and Finance;
7. Employment;
8. Commercial/Corporate;
9. Regulatory and Compliance;
10. Health and Social Care;
11. Dispute Resolution;
12. Information Technology.

The contract is for a three-year term with the option for 2 x 12-month extension periods.

It will be awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 60%) and price (weighting: 40%).
