Not-for-profit housing developer for over 55s to set up £1.8m panel of legal services providers
A leading not-for-profit developer of housing for over 55s, the ExtraCare Charitable Trust, is to procure a panel of suppliers for legal services worth an estimated £1.8m over five years.
Since 1988, ExtraCare has operated retirement villages and smaller housing developments around its Midlands base and further south. It supports older people in 14 retirement villages and 5 housing schemes.
The contract has been divided into the following lots:
- Construction;
- Commercial Property;
- Housing;
- Planning and Environment;
- Intellectual Property;
- Banking and Finance;
- Employment;
- Commercial/Corporate;
- Regulatory and Compliance;
- Health and Social Care;
- Dispute Resolution;
- Information Technology.
The contract is for a three-year term with the option for 2 x 12-month extension periods.
It will be awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 60%) and price (weighting: 40%).
