Liverpool Foundation Housing Company (Foundations), a new ethical housing company set up by Liverpool City Council, is seeking to appoint a legal services provider to a contract worth £110,000 over one year.

Foundations said the services to be covered would include property, development, commercial, contract, governance, company and multi-disciplinary project support and legal advice.

The organisation said: “The successful bidder will demonstrate they can provide advice that is professional, competent, expert and timely and is delivered in a way that makes a positive contribution to the achievement of the best overall outcome for Foundations on each matter.”

Foundations added that it has a delivery programme of circa 20 new build and refurbishment development projects and circa 7 thematic programmes commencing in the years of April 2019 - March 2022 which equates to approximately 27 main transactions.

“In addition, there may be some ancillary matters for which advice and legal agreements are required such as individual property acquisitions (number and type to be determined),” it said.

The contract is due to start on 15 July 2019 and run until 14 July 2020.
