Welsh social landlord appoints council and eight firms to £4.2m legal services framework

Social landlord Cartrefi Conwy, which has more than 3,800 properties throughout the county of Conwy in North Wales, has appointed its local authority and eight law firms to a legal services framework estimated to be worth £4.2m.
The framework was divided into the following lots:
- Corporate and funding.
- HR and employment.
- Housing management.
- Property, land and development.
The successful providers were:
- Anthony Collins Solicitors (lots 1, 2, 4)
- Blake Morgan (1, 3, 4)
- Capital Law (1, 2, 4)
- Conwy County Borough Council (3, 4)
- Devonshires (1, 2, 3)
- Forbes Solicitors (3)
- Hugh James (2, 3, 4)
- Trowers and Hamlins (1, 2, 4)
- Weightmans (2, 3)
The agreement will be used by Cartrefi Conwy and all subsidiaries of Cartrefi Conwy.
Cartrefi Conwy said it would also make the agreement accessible by other contracting authorities operating across North Wales, primarily registered social landlords.
