Theo Huckle QC steps down as Counsel General for Wales

Theo Huckle QC has stepped down as Counsel General for Wales and will focus on his practice at the Bar with Doughty Street Chambers and Apex Chambers.

With the formation of the new Welsh Government last month, Huckle completed his term as the Welsh Law Officer and left the Government. He was appointed Counsel General in 2011.

Doughty Street said Huckle would also focus on his academic and writing appointments.

Huckle was recently appointed a Visiting Professor of Law at King’s College London and has taken up the General Editorship of the Butterworths' Personal Injury Litigation Service.
