Join us for our one-day conference dedicated to the Renters’ Rights Act 2025.
The Renters’ Rights Act 2025 represents the most significant reform of residential landlord and tenant law for almost 40 years and will radically change both the residential letting market and the legal framework.
Landmark Chambers’ barristers have played a leading role throughout the development of this legislation, including giving evidence to Parliament and advising the Government. With commencement now announced for 1 May 2026, our members are already advising landlords, tenants, and local authorities on the implications of the reforms.
This conference will provide practical insight into the new legal landscape and guidance for navigating the transition.
Programme
- Transitional arrangements – including when can the final s.21 notice may be issued.
- The new tenancy landscape, with a focus on security of tenure and eviction, rent increases and anti-discrimination laws.
- New landlord duties.
- Likely developments in the county court during 2026.
Further speakers are to be confirmed in due course.
