Coventry City Council launches procurement for £6m legal services framework agreement

Coventry City Council has launched the procurement of a legal advisors framework contract that could be worth £6m over a four-year period.

The contract, which will be for use by UK public sector bodies including local authorities and educational establishments, has been divided into four lots:

  • Childcare litigation and adult and general social care law
  • General commercial and public law: including acquisition and disposals of land with a value of £1m or above
  • Property and litigation: including commercial projects with a value of less than £1m
  • Education: including higher education and higher education trusts.

The local authority envisages a maximum number of 30 participants to the agreement, with up to 10 operators per lot. The contract is expected to last four years and the main place for performance will be the West Midlands and Warwickshire.
